I've been playing around trying to make a proper website for a while and I saw a commercial about building your own website and I checked it out. The commercial was for a company called Wix that has a website where anyone -- you, me, or whoever -- can make a site so I made one about vaporizers because that's what I felt like doing. It didn't come out that great but it's pretty decent for the amount of time I put into it (not very much) and that's saying a lot because I'm really not a professional web designer or anything like that. I mean, I struggled to make this blog look the way I wanted and it's still not even quite right but I'm content with it. So making like the perfect site or something wasn't about to happen but I was able to more or less get done what I wanted to do which was to put together a decent website with some vaporizer reviews and news. And that's what I did. The link I just inserted will take you to this little website of mine. I hope you don't think it sucks because I did take at least a little time to write what I wrote there and it would hurt my feelings if you didn't at least think it was okay. I mean, I think it's pretty darn decent so you should too. But if you don't like it, that's fine as long as you just don't tell me! Hahaha.
What I tossed up on there was some news about stuff like the G Pen dude crashing the Grammy Awards and the Snoop Dogg video on how to use a G-Pen. I also got some reviews up like one for the Puffit, another one of the Atmos RX, and even one of the Pax by Ploom. Of course I got my favorite up there too, the Ascent by DaVinci, and it's not a short one. It's a long one. It's in depth and it explains just about everything I know about it but enough of that because I've got some TV to watch (show just came back on from commercials) and you know I only blog when I'm between commercials or watching something terrible and in this case, I'm watching something horribly interesting on FX so I've got to split.

Why I'm Not Playing Magic The Gathering Online
I've been playing "Magic Cards" off and on for years now and while I love tapping mana in real life with my buds, I found that there's an online version that's totally awesome but yet I don't play it and I just wanted to touch up on why. The reason why I don't play it is primarily because I'm afraid of how much money I'll spend on it buying virtual cards when I've already put God knows how much into my card collection. I mean, I've got some really legit decks and I don't want to rebuild them just to play online. The other reason why I don't play is because I'm worried that I'll become addicted to it. I don't want to end up playing it all the time because I like to keep my life fairly active and I can just see it consuming too much of my free time.
I'd seriously rather casually mess around on the computer while watching a little TV than play it all of the time and for how much I like playing, I'd probably be obsessed. So that's why I don't really want to play the online version of my favorite card game.

Running Through My Day, Not That You Care
Today, I woke up around noon because I didn't have much to do. When I got up, I ate an omelet and drank some fresh squeezed OJ. While I was eating I noticed my phone wasn't working right. After playing around with it, I figured it wasn't working so I'd just go get it checked out. After getting it checked, it was fixed pretty quick, so I just came back home. I wasn't sure if I was going to do anything because it was raining but I really wanted to go hiking. Seeing as it was raining, I ended up just staying in instead of braving the weather in my raincoat. Couldn't find anything all that great to watch on TV so I called my friend and he came over to play some video games. I hadn't played the new Assassins Creed all that much so we got down on that a bit. While he was playing (yeah, it's one player), I decided to make a Tumblr. Why Tumblr? I don't know but my buddy was bugging me so I made it. Kept saying that blogs are lame unless they're Tumblrs and while I don't know if I agree, I've got one now and it looks pretty cool. It didn't take a lot of effort to setup and get looking half.
I think the main difference between this and that is that I've actually been able to find my friends on there and follow their blogs. I'm not even sure if I have any friends on here but I might.
See my Tumblr: Vape Man's Wanderings
At this point, I'm just watching that Alaskan State Trooper show. For some reason, it's really interesting to me. You get to see all kinds of crazy stuff and how they operate. They've been breaking up fights, spying on people, being generally sneaky, and now they're looking for someone that shot someone else. The shooting didn't happen where they are, which is some huge party in the middle of nowhere, but the cops think there's a chance the person could be there so they've distributed a picture of the person that the dispatcher sent over and now they're just hoping they'll bump into him I guess. I'm typing this now because it's running commercials but it's about to come back on so I'm just going to wrap this up.

My Plans For Spring, Summer, And Fall
So spring is work and that means less free time to do things like blog on here. Come summer, I'm going to be hiking, kayaking, and walking around in the woods. If I have a chance, which I think I will, I'm going to go to some festivals. There's a Phish show that I'm thinking about hitting up with my friend but we'll see when the time comes if I can actually go. Would be nice to see another Phish show. It's definitely been a while.Hiking is fun and I like to do it a lot but I really need to find some better boots this year. Mine are falling apart and not as comfortable as I'd like them to be. They're not cheap but they're really not that great. I hear Redbacks are solid boots so I'm going to see if I can find a pair to try on and see if they're all that or just another gimmicky product that doesn't perform like so many others in this day and age.
I'd also like to do a lot of swimming this summer. If possible, with some friends. I'm not big on boating but I'll probably do a bit of that too. I prefer to kayak because I get exercise and it's nice being alone in the water, just floating around.
Driving around the coastline is another plan of mine this year and I'm hoping that I manage to drop down by my friend's new vacation home in Delaware. It's been a while since I've just hung out in a cozy beachfront community. Definitely looking forward to that but what I'm looking forward to most is fall.
Come fall, the weather here is crisp and the air cool. The leaves on the trees change from green to vibrant reds, yellows, oranges, and pinks. I love it. I can't believe how beautiful it is. I'd trade nothing for the beauty that is fall.
In fall, I'll be drinking hot cocoa, tea, and relaxing. Just trying to soak in all of the beauty of this world.
If I can, I'm trying to buy a road bike and go riding around during early spring and fall, perhaps a bit in the summer but it's usually so hot in the summer that all I want to do is swim and kayak for the most part.
Enough With The Rain Already
It's been raining all day long and I can't stand it because all I want to do is go outside and enjoy the sunshine but the sun has hidden behind the clouds and I'm stuck inside watching movies. It could be worse but still, I've been so active lately I hate to not be able to go outside right now. I should at least go for a little cruise around in my car to get a bit of fresh air. Yeah, I'll probably have to do that soon. Still watching this Superman flick and boy is it crazy. By far, this is the craziest Superman movie I've seen so far. I'm digging the story but the acting could be a bit better... Not that psyched about the actor in the lead role but that's okay. He'll do the trick in keeping me entertained and believing that I'm in the story. Blogging here is a little distracting and it's getting really intriguing so I'm going to take a little break from typing for a minute to pay more attention to the movie.
Got Vape Changed The Name Of The Zoom Pro To Zema Pro Vaporizer
There's a vape store that's been around for years and it's probably one of the most well known at this point. They don't just sell vapes, they also make them. Who are they? Got Vape.
They came out with one called the Zoom Pro but they decided to change the name. I guess some company didn't want them using the name so they just changed it instead of taking it to court. The new name? Zema Pro.
What is the Zema? It's a pen vaporizer that claims multi-functionality. It's not the only one of its kind but being as it's made by Got Vape, it just might be pretty legit.
Kind of reminds of me of the SkyCloud I was talking about earlier. It seems like pen vaporizers are becoming really popular as of late. Maybe it's all of the publicity that the G Pen has been getting by enlisting celebrities like Snoop Dogg who was seen giving Conan a G-Pen on his show. Or maybe it's just the army of marketers that the vaporizer manufacturers and stores have enlisted to help sell vapes. But really, who can say?
Never having tried the Zema vaporizer, there's not much I can say so I'm just going to leave you with whatever I just said about it and you can find out more for yourself by checking out the company's website. Just Google them if you don't know their address. I'd tell you what it is but they've changed it before so it's probably easier to just search for it yourself.
I'm going to go back to watching this Superman movie so stay cool until I post another entry on here.

Thinking About What I'm Going To Cook Tonight While I Vaporize
![]() |
| Filet Mignon picture I found on some website. |
What's nice about the vape is that I can actually sit inside and get my nic-fix and that's nice because I don't want to pause the movie and get up every time I want a puff of tobacco. Just relaxing here with the portable is super convenient. This is especially true when the weather outside isn't that great and today it's raining so I don't have much inclination to go outside other than to go for a little walk later to stretch my legs and get a bit of exercise.
Vaporizing while I lay around watching movies makes me pretty lazy and when I'm being lazy I tend to think about food for some reason. Right now I'm planning dinner in my head. The first thought was that I'd cook this filet mignon that I picked up. It's a nice cut so I'll take a little bit of time with the preparation. I'll pepper and salt it, then allow it to sit for a little while so that I'm not shocking it when the cold meat hits the hot pan. I'm going to cook it with some wine but I haven't decided which. I was originally thinking I would do a balsamic reduction but I don't know how well that will go with the blue cheese so I'm just going to stick with the wine and keep it simple.
Sitting here, sucking down some mighty fine vapor, my appetite is rapidly growing. That and all of the food talk really has me going now. I'm thinking about setting down my Ascent vaporizer and chilling out on the vape for a minute while I start to prepare lunch. For lunch, I was thinking something simple like some soup. It's nice having a bowl of soup with a bit of sourdough bread on a day like this. That said, I should probably take a look at my options in the cupboard to see what kind of soup I'm going to be having.
Before I go, I just want to say that the new Superman movie is pretty sweet so far. This is one of the cooler films I've seen this year but I don't think it compares with the new Lego movie. That Lego movie was insanely awesome.

Checking Out The New Superman Movie, Man Of Steel
I'm really into this movie so far. Let's see where it goes. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint like many movies have in recent times.
I grew up watching Superman cartoons on television as a kid and wasn't ever that impressed with the movies they released. I'm really hoping this one takes it to the level I had always hoped they would. After all, how can you not take your production to the next level when it's the iconic man of steel that you're trying to portray in all of his otherworldly glory?
Looks Like SkyCloud Vaporizers Are Coming
SkyClouds are pens. The company making them started a fundraising campaign on a crowd-funding website. Which crowd-funding site? IndieGoGo. Yeah, the infamous kick starter site is where Kandy Pens created their SkyCloud campaign. The goal? To raise $100K. Did they reach their goal? Not quite, but they got more than halfway there with just under $54,000. Impressive.
Their intention with the campaign? To mass manufacture their pen vaporizers. While they didn't raise the full amount, they're still moving forward with the manufacturing process.

Just Watched The New Lone Ranger Movie With Johnny Depp
After eating breakfast (a couple of cheeseburgers) and vaporizing for a bit, I decided to watch a movie on television so I loaded up On Demand and found the new Lone Ranger movie from 2013. I hadn't seen it yet and it starred Johnny Depp, one of my favorite actors, so I figured, "hey, why not?" Having just finished watching it, I want to say that it's a pretty good movie. I could see my old man liking it, after all, that was his generation that grew up listening to it on the radio. Wow. That was a long, long time ago. Makes me wonder what time will do to me. What it will do to us all. The beauty that we have when we're young seems so temporal. The energy that we have, we know we'll eventually lose. There's more to life than being young and we don't know what it is we have until we begin to lose it. I need to stay active. Keep in shape. All that. It's hard to keep in that mindset though and so I slip. Ground never regained. Such is the story of my life.
Onto happier thoughts, the good weather has finally come to brighten up my world. The sunshine floods my mind with happiness. The dreary winter will be a forgotten thought, at least for a little while.
I just turned on some new "Silicon Valley" series on HBO. Can't wait to see what this is all about. Seeing as I'm a nerd, San Jose is one of the more interesting U.S. cities to me. An area I know all too well.
That does it for this entry, I got a new series to watch.

Zac Efron Uses A Vaporizer (Picture)
Looks like Zac Efron was seen using a vaporizer. Somehow this is news. Personally, I don't care what the guy does in his free time but I just thought I'd share this anyways, seeing as some people seem to care and hey, it's a cool dude with a vape. Why wouldn't I share this picture? Haha.
I wonder what the vaporizer is that he's using. It kind of looks like a white ThermoVape. These dudes are straight up chillen. Nice.

Review: Ascent Vaporizer By DaVinci, The Best Portable On The Market?
![]() |
| Croc-skin Ascent. Image found on VapeForest.com |
The Ascent's new glass-on-glass design was an original idea that should have come long ago in my opinion. I mean, I was waiting for this for a while. The idea is sound but it seems to take a bit of effort to pull off and that's perhaps why it took so long. Or maybe none of the manufacturers were thinking right, but who knows. Either way, the DaVinci vape company has finally managed to make it happen. The trick was getting the entire vapor pathway lined with glass.
First Portable Glass Vape
Lining the path vapor travels with glass instead of making a vaporizer almost entirely out of glass was probably a good idea because I think it adds to the durability of the product. Where it's not hard to break a glass pipe, it seems a bit more difficult to break the Ascent. How do I know? I'm clumsy and forgetful at times... which is to say that I've dropped mine more than a couple of times and it's still working. That's a good thing because it costs enough for me to not be all that psyched about paying for another. The glass didn't break and I'm assuming that's because the two removable glass pieces are encased in silicone sleeves. Pretty smart on the part of DaVinci.
Vaporize Everything
You can vape just about anything, I'm assuming, with it because it's got a design which allows for glass jars to be inserted into the heating area and this means that liquids are no problem. I assume you could use this with eLiquid but I've never tried it because I don't really trust that stuff. I'm into the loose leaf tobacco so that's what I use but I did try a liquid blend out of curiosity and it worked great. I tried the jar with and without the lid. I felt like the lid was a constraint and it didn't work quite as well with it so I mostly used it without the lid but doing so was a bit messy so I realized it's best to be careful. Careful in the sense that you should always keep it upright in order to not tip it and spill the liquid. With loose blends, it seemed to vaporize evenly and I didn't see any vapor leaking out so I'd say it's pretty efficient.
Temp Control

Battery Saving Technology
Ascents have an OLED screen and that means less battery drain than normal LED displays. The "O" stands for organic, just so you know. That's right, I'm a nerd. The screen is really easy to see, but my eyes are relatively young so I can't speak for people with dimming eyesight. Seems bright though. The screen shows everything that's going on. There's even a little animation that lets you know the internal vaporizing temperature is where you want it and that it's ready for use.
References
Some of the information in this review I've written came from the Ascent vaporizer review that I was referencing on VapeForest.com but this is basically limited to facts about the device like the OLED which provides 3-4 hours of vaporizing time. Everything else I've said about this personal vaporizer from 2013 came from my own experience using it. This last paragraph is basically my disclaimer so you don't think I'm pulling the statistics out of thin air. That's right, I'm actually doing real research here. Crazy, huh? A blogger who does their research is truly a wild concept.
Would I Get Another?
If mine broke, I would seriously consider getting another one because I think it works that good. It's not a Volcano but it is portable and it does taste just as good so yeah, I would probably get another one.
About DaVinci
This company isn't some brand new vape company that's come out of left field with a winner. They're actually a company that's been into designing vaporizers for a while. I remember them for their walkie talkie looking vape, the DaVinci vaporizer. That was their original portable and while it was popular at the time, it's probably not as hot these days because there are so many newer vapes out now. Their company is known as Organicix and they seem pretty serious about their vapor. I mean, they did make the DaVinci and the Ascent and that speaks pretty loud to me. They're serious. They have a website (davincivaporizer.com) where they sell their own vapes. The company was the first to release a glass on glass portable but they probably won't be the last.
That's it for this review but it probably won't be my last because this isn't the only vape I've ever used. I've definitely used a few so you might want to check back in later to see what else I have to say about the vapes out there.
Ploom Made Carrying Cases For Pax
I can't say I'm surprised because Pax is really popular for a portable vaporizer and what company wouldn't accessorize their flagship product? I certainly would if I were Ploom but that's just me. I guess I fall into the same boat as Ploom in that sense because they were inclined to do the same. Not only did they release a lubricant (which is hardly an accessory so much as a necessity), they've gone as far as to release a carrying case. Pretty cool but I think they should come out with some more designs to choose from because I don't love the one they've got. It's just what I said before, pretty cool. But that's just my opinion. I wonder what everyone else thinks of it.
Why I Vaporize
In case anyone who reads this is curious, I'm going to explain why I vaporize. It's simple, I prefer it over combustion. I'm not vaporizing for aromatherapy purposes, I'm vaporizing tobacco to get my nicotine fix. I like to vape loose leaf tobacco. That's my preference. While others use it for various reasons, this is why I use them. I understand some people even use them for cooking but again, that's not me. I'm just into tobacco vaporizers for the most part. I really don't care for the e-cigs because I trust them less than loose leaf vapes, but I could easily be wrong. I've just heard too much craziness about the eLiquid so I'm a bit worrisome about using an e-cig.
Using a vaporizer doesn't seem as bad for my health as smoking a cigarette. I think cigarettes are disgusting and vaporizing tobacco isn't too much better, but in my mind, it is better and that's enough of a reason for me.
Now that you know why I vaporize, I wonder if you'll eventually tell someone why YOU vaporize. That's assuming that you do vape, but then again, I have no idea who will read this so maybe you don't... Which is cool. More power to you.

Snoop Lion Has His Own Double G Series Vaporizers, Word?
I just saw a video of Snoop Lion explaining how to use a G Pen. How cool is that? A world renown musician with a pen vape... where have I seen that before? Oh, that's right, I saw a picture of what I think was Willie Nelson using a Vapir NO2. There's also Action Bronsin with his G-Pen, but you might not know who that is so I'll tell you, he's a rapper. Here's the video I saw:
In this video, you'll notice Snoop sitting on a chair fit for a king, rockin' some crazy sunglasses, and a Steelers jacket. Straight up pimp.
The first time I read about the Snoop Dogg G Pen was on this site called Vaporizer Wire (dot com). They've got vape news, if you couldn't figure that out from their name. Though, that's not necessarily that indicative of what they do, as the site could be a store which sells wires for vaporizers or something like that... Haha. Anywaaays, it looks like he partnered with the vape company that makes G Pens. And what company is that? Grenco Science, of course.
Did you know he also made a Micro G Pen? That's right, this business savvy Dogg even has his very own microG. If you somehow don't know where he's from, he reps Long Beach, California. That's why his vaporizers are LBC styled.
I can't believe how crazy the vape world is getting these days. Things look like they're really heating up. Get it? Heating up. You know, like vaporizers getting hot (a.k.a. heating up). Sorry. That's a terrible joke. My bad.
What's not bad? This video. This video is awesome.

Vape Flowers, A New Vaporizer Reviews Website Is Born
I'm always on the prowl looking for new vaporizers and sometimes I come across new vaporizer sites like Vape Flowers. Sometimes the review sites look so similar I'm wondering whether or not they're made by the same person but this one here looks different from all the others I've seen and I've seen a lot of them. I might go as far as to say that this one looks like it might have been made by a female but who knows. I say that because it's all flowery and cute and that's just not something I'd expect from your typical male. Then again, who cares about all that because it doesn't have anything to do with this site.
VapeFlowers.com has lots of vaporizer reviews and when I say that, I mean lots. Looking at a site like the Vape Critic or Vape Forest review sites, you won't see that many vapes reviewed but when you look at VapeFlowers, there are a bunch. There's got to be over 40 on there but that's just a guess. I could probably take a closer look and count them but that doesn't sound like any fun so I'm just going to say that it looks like around fifty reviews or so and that's a lot. There really aren't that many vaporizers out there, at least now that I'm aware of so 50 is quite a few.
Looking at the site, it looks like it was pretty well made but I don't think the author was by any means the best vaporizer review writer I've had a chance to read. In fact, some of the reviews don't seem all that great, but I didn't read them all so I don't really know. Just saying.
I don't want to take too much time talking about this one vape site when there's so much more I'd like to say so I'm just going to tell you where you can find them.
You can find them at www.vapeflowers.com
Vapor is such a fast growing industry that I'm guessing there are going to be more and more of these types of websites popping up but we'll see as time unravels.
On a side note, I just heard that Apple was working with some company to make racially sensitive (or diverse) emojis. If you don't know, these are basically smiley faces and whatnot. Obviously, this is totally unrelated to vaporizers but I had to bring it up because I just saw it on television.

NY Times Reports On Portable Vaporizer Design

I was just reading up on the latest vaporizer news and I noticed a report on Vaporizer Wire (vaporizerwire.com) and couldn't help but read a report regarding The New York Times. Being more than familiar with the reputable company, I couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about in relation to vaporizers and so I read it. What was interesting was that the article seemed to focus on two particular portables, the Pax, made by Ploom, and the Firefly, made by... I don't know who makes the Firefly. Anyways, the report detailed a party in Brooklyn at which the NY Times writer quoted some individuals as they discussed vaporizers.
The two vapes that came up were the Pax and the Firefly. Both are relatively new. Both are fairly popular. They've both seen seemingly relentless marketing campaigns that have left them with a sizable following.
One of the reasons why these two are so popular just might be attributed to their beauty. They were both elegantly designed. The Firefly with its retro, 50s style, design. Then there's the Pax vaporizer with its sleek design that takes on a minimalist approach.
For a couple of portable vapes, they're nothing shy of artistic, and that's a bit more than one might say for the bulk of the vapes out there. At least, that's more than I would say for most of them. If you're looking for a piece of art that happens to be a portable vaporizer, you might not need to look any further than these two.
With designers who previously worked for companies like IBM, Apple, and Wal-Mart, it doesn't come across as much of a surprise seeing how cool these vapes look.

Blog Explanation: What We Have Here
If you came across this blog and were confused as to what it was about, this entry is intended to enlighten you. I'm Cee and I made this blog. I decided to call it Das Vaporizer because I recently watched the Beerfest movie and the phrase "das boot" came to mind. I started thinking German and bam, there it was: the name for this blog (Das Vaporizer). So that's where the name came from.
Now onto the blog itself. The idea here is that I was thinking about making a blog on Google's "Blogger" but I didn't know what I'd make one about but I knew I really wanted to make a blog, so here it is. What's it about? Well, I've been into vaping for days and thought to myself, "man, you've got to start blogging about vaporizers." Without much effort, I turned this idea into this vaporizer blog. How cool is that? Very-very cool if you ask me but you didn't so I'm just telling you.
I'm going to post more entries about vaporizers now because that's what I made this blog to do.
